Token status
The BERRY token address is configured. Once the mint is live on-chain, spends and harvests settle as SPL transfers on Solana.
1. The Economic Loop
- Players buy their first Pokémon (Water or Grass, 10,000 BERRY) and get every one after it from Poké Balls, which they find or buy. There is no free starting balance.
- Every Pokémon forages BERRY each second from the 50M emission reserve. The emission rate starts at 20.7 BERRY/sec and halves every 14 days. The starting rate is derived from the reserve, so the schedule adds up to exactly the reserve and never promises BERRY it doesn’t hold. Each wallet’s share follows its grow power, capped at 30%.
- Players harvest (2% fee) or, for Grass Pokémon, compound (0.75% fee). Both fees stay in the reserve.
- BERRY goes back in through Rare Candy (Pokémon levels), opening found Poké Balls, and ranch upgrades. The ledger records these as 50/30/20 burn / reserve / treasury, and adoptions as 70/30 burn / treasury. The reserve share refills the emission pool.
- On-chain, every spend is a single SPL transfer to the protocol treasury wallet, the same wallet that pays harvests. The burn share of every spend is destroyed on-chain from the treasury (SPL BurnChecked) in batches, so the on-chain total trails the ledger until the next batch. Each burn is listed with its transaction in the burn list. No SOL protocol fee is charged.
2. Pokémon Family Economics

Grass Pokémon
Lives in the meadow. Earns BERRY, can compound at a 0.75% fee · bonus meadow slots at ranch Lv5/7/9. Only your first Pokémon can be adopted; the rest come from Poké Balls.

Species is cosmetic: it comes from the Pokémon’s id and never changes yield.

Market buys are player-to-player: never burned, only the market fee is kept5. Halving Emission
Emission starts at E₀ = 20.7 BERRY/sec and halves every 14 days, in steps.
E(t) = E₀ × 0.5 ^ floor(t / 14 days) Day 0 : 20.7 BERRY/sec (1.8M/day) Day 14 : 10.3 BERRY/sec (892,857/day, 50% of lifetime emitted) Day 28 : 5.2 BERRY/sec (446,429/day, 75% of lifetime emitted) Day 42 : 2.6 BERRY/sec (223,214/day, 88% of lifetime emitted) Day 93 : ~0 (99% of the schedule elapsed; the tail is negligible)
Lifetime schedule = 50M BERRY, exactly the 5% of the planned 1B supply set aside as the emission reserve. The other 950M (95%) is public float. Once the token launches, verify the mint’s supply and authorities on a Solana explorer.
user_rate = min(user_gp / network_gp, 30%) × E(t) × welcome_boost user_gp = Σ over your Pokémon of level_multiplier × gear_multiplier gear_mult = min(500, avg(4 slot multipliers)^0.75) × Π rarity boosts (Formula D)
The 30% per-wallet cap stops one ranch from taking most of a thin network’s emission. Emission that nobody captures, because of the cap or full baskets, isn’t paid out and stays in the reserve. Nothing here guarantees any player a return.
5b. Welcome Boost
While the welcome boost lasts, your Pokémon count for more in the network-wide split: up to the factor below at your first adoption, falling linearly to 1× over 72 hours, so players who join after a halving still get a strong start. It weights your grow power before the share cap is applied, so it never pushes total emission past the schedule.
boost(elapsed) = 1 + 7 × max(0, 1 − elapsed / 72h) Hour 0 : 8.00× Hour 24 : 5.67× Hour 48 : 3.33× Hour 72 : 1.00× (boost over)
6. Ranch Levels
Ranch level is wallet-wide. Upgrades cost BERRY (50/30/20 burn / reserve / treasury in the ledger) and start a 12h cooldown that cannot be skipped. Higher levels hold more Pokémon and unlock rarer gear tiers.

7. Poké Ball Supply & Odds
Balls can be bought for 10,000 BERRY (up to 20 per wallet per day) or found for free while Pokémon forage. The network finds at most 75 per day and one wallet at most 6 per day (UTC days). Expected finds follow your share of network grow power, and Water Pokémon roll at 1.5× the Grass rate. Ranch level doesn’t change these limits. Opening any ball you own is free.

Below a tier’s unlock level its weight goes to Common. Bad-luck protection, per wallet: Legendary-or-better odds ramp up after 20 dry opens (up to 4×) and open #30 is guaranteed; Mythic-or-better ramps after 100 (up to 4×) and #150 is guaranteed; Divine has no ramp and #1500 is guaranteed. Guarantees apply only to unlocked tiers.
8. Aura Tier Palette
Each Pokémon’s aura colour follows its level, so progress is visible at a glance on the ranch. It’s cosmetic.
